Why A Quality Preschool Program Is A Good Investment

At The Gardner School, we believe the investment you’re making in your child’s early education is important and should provide a high-value experience and foundation for your children. From the very beginning, we’ve focused on creating an environment for parents and children with a value that goes far beyond their time at The Gardner School. Here are four specific ways we provide an invaluable experience for parents and children in and beyond the classroom.

Diverse and Research-Based Curriculum

Our curriculum is diverse enough to meet the needs of every student at every stage. Each learning program is broken down by age and reflects our belief that a mix of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities helps students thrive. Our blended selection of research-based curriculums allows each student to build upon the lessons in a way that fits their learning style and stimulates their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth at the pace that’s right for them.

Using the Creative Curriculum for infants and toddlers and the World of Wonders curriculum for preschoolers, our goal is to build a strong foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Through on-site supplemental enrichment classes, S.T.E.A.M.-focused, and Camp Gardner, we offer a full suite of diverse and joyful learning experiences!

Qualified and Caring Teachers

Our knowledgeable staff and qualified teachers at each TGS location enable us to maintain a high standard of early childhood education. 90% of developmental growth happens by the age of five, which is why we work hard to cultivate strong and healthy teacher-child relationships. Your preschooler’s teacher helps set the stage for their learning journey and plays a key role in their social-emotional development and self-regulation. At TGS, we value our teachers and support them in a variety of ways to ensure they remain inspired and engaged in their important work. When teachers are growing in their skills and knowledge, our students enjoy the benefits, and so do parents! You can feel great knowing that your little one is receiving an outstanding education with our teachers.

A Healthy and Secure Environment

From providing nutritious meals and spacious classrooms to our security protocols, your child’s health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do. The environment we create at every TGS location reflects our commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.

Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with beautifully designed classrooms that feature plenty of natural light and enough space for children to find adventures with friends, or cozy up with a book!

When it comes to nutrition, we understand the importance of a well-balanced diet for growing minds and bodies. That’s why we serve up delicious and nutritious meals and snacks that are not only healthy but also child-approved. By offering plenty of fruits and vegetables, we aim to support your little one’s health and development while instilling good eating habits from an early age.

Meaningful Connections with Your Family

We believe giving parents regular updates on their child throughout the day provides peace of mind—an important part of the preschool experience for every family! At The Gardner School, teachers use a parent communications app on iPads in each classroom to send real-time daily updates on naps and meal times, photos, and more. We’re also committed to making sure you’re aware of how your child is developing through regular assessments and parent-teacher conferences.
