Spring Into Learning With The Gardner School!

Early Childhood Development | March 24, 2025

Spring is a season of renewal, growth, and exploration! This makes it the perfect time to spark new learning opportunities for your child. At The Gardner School, we embrace the changing seasons with engaging new activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Why Spring is a Great Time to Learn

As the weather continues to warm up, children can take advantage of more outdoor learning experiences! Spring provides a natural classroom where children can explore science, develop motor skills, and engage in hands-on activities that make learning exciting and memorable.

Spring Themed Learning Activities

At TGS, we integrate spring-themed lessons into our curriculum to enhance student engagement. You can encourage springtime learning at home by incorporating other seasonal activities into their daily routines!

  • When it’s nice outside, nature walks, and exploration encourage observation skills by discovering flowers and identifying insects and wildlife. It’s scavenger hunt time!
  • Teaching children responsibility through planting and gardening shows them the science behind plant growth.
  • Using springtime colors and seasonal materials in Spring arts and crafts helps spark creativity!
  • It’s the perfect time to bring a book outside for outdoor story time to bring the characters to life in an open-air setting.

How The Gardner School Welcomes Spring

Our dedicated teachers create opportunities for hands-on exploration, helping students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a joyful and nurturing environment.
