Family dinners are where some of the best memories are made. It’s always a pleasure to gather everyone and share favorite foods, try new ones, and experience new restaurants together. That’s why we asked our TGS families to share their favorite kid-friendly restaurants in Lincoln Park, Chicago. We hope you see some of your favorites, too, or find your next dinner spot!

1. Crosby’s Kitchen

Several parents named Crosby’s Kitchen their favorite kid-friendly restaurant in the area. With all the classics on the children’s menu, including buttered noodles, grilled cheese, and PB&Js, there is something on the menu for everyone. There’s even a children’s brunch menu! As an added bonus, your little ones eat free on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM.

2. D’Agostino’s Wrigleyville

Have a craving for pizza? Head over to D’Agostino’s in Wrigleyville. This family-favorite restaurant features a $10 lunch menu, family nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and a balloon artist every Tuesday night! Take a look at the dine-in menu for all the details. In December, keep a lookout for D’Agostino’s Pizza with Santa event that one parent described as “the best” Santa experience they had ever been to.

3. The Bagel

For homestyle cooking in a welcoming atmosphere, try The Bagel. Its expansive menu ensures that everyone in your family, even the choosier eaters, will find something they love. From breakfast favorites to house specialties, you could try a new dish every visit and always have something to look forward to.

4. Summer House Santa Monica

The bright, airy atmosphere at Summer House Santa Monica makes it a local favorite, especially in the sunny spring and summer months. Stop in for seasonal specials, fresh vegetables, and a fun children’s menu. You might consider also checking out The Bakery for a few sweet treats!

5. Dona Tola

Who doesn’t love authentic Mexican food? With a cozy atmosphere, Dona Tola serves traditional Mexican cooking in a casual setting. Patrons rave about the enchiladas and churros with chocolate. For the little ones, Dona Tola makes mini chimichangas and chicken or cheese quesadillas. This is also a wonderful opportunity for children to sample your more adventurous meal to try new dishes!

6. Frasca

Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar is the place to be for weekend brunch, market-fresh salads, wood-fired pizza, and pasta. Its diverse menu makes it easy to make everyone in the family happy while trying and sharing delicious dishes and still having those classic comfort foods we all know and love.
