Keeping children active and engaged is a vital part of their growth and development. That’s why having lots of indoor play options is helpful — it’s a wonderful way to ensure that you and your child always have a fun place to go, even when the weather isn’t favorable. To help inspire your next family outing, we asked our TGS parents about their favorite kid-friendly indoor activities in Naperville, Illinois, and we’re excited to share what they had to say.

1. DuPage Children’s Museum

With a calendar full of family fun events, the DuPage Children’s Museum brings together learning and play to keep kids’ minds engaged and curious. Each station features a hands-on activity that will deepen your child’s understanding of the world around them — and raise more questions they will want to answer! Ready to get them excited about this fun and educational experience? Take a virtual tour to see what’s waiting for you in the heart of Naperville. Don’t forget to stop by the Bean Sprouts’ Cafe for a Grilledzilla or a Flutter Bite!

2. Ball Factory

An indoor playground with a cafe, Ball Factory Playground takes care of all of your food and play needs! Kids love the mega blocks and ball blasting arena, and you’ll love how much physical activity and exercise your child is getting. Head over to the cafe for a menu full of delicious hot and cold drinks, snacks, and pizza.

3. Playroom Cafe Two

Playroom Cafe Two is an indoor playground and cafe, featuring warm pastel tones, an environmentally friendly wooden play structure, a ball pit, natural wood toys, and uniquely designed play areas. There is also a separate baby area, free WiFi, and, of course, the cafe. Try a specialty coffee, nutritious smoothie, delicious waffles, hot sandwiches, and more to fuel your day of play.

4. Urban Air Park

For those days when your little one is metaphorically bouncing off the walls, why not give them an opportunity to do that for real? To help your child burn off all that energy, look no further than Urban Air Park. This trampoline and adventure park has several different play areas that allow your child to jump, soar, race, and climb to their heart’s content. This park is open to children of all ages and features battle beams, trampolines, go-karts, a ropes course, a playground, and more. You can bet they’ll be tired and ready for a good night’s sleep after a long day of active play!

5. Funtopia

Another indoor playground and adventure park, Funtopia brings the fun to Naperville. With rock walls, zip lines, slides, and even places to relax, this activity center has something for everyone in the family. From the toddler’s area to the biggest climbing wall, Funtopia will keep your child entertained all day long.
