Placing your child in someone else’s care is a big decision for every parent. A safe and loving environment is certainly a top priority for families ready to enroll their children in a preschool program, and at The Gardner School, your child’s safety is our top priority. The nurturing and loving environment we create at our schools enhances the learning experiences of our students while providing parents with peace of mind.
We believe preschool plays a pivotal role in nurturing strong family partnerships and bonds by creating an environment where children and parents feel connected and supported. When you join The Gardner School, you’re joining a community that you won’t find anywhere else. The community aspect of TGS is one of the primary reasons parents love our school!
“The Gardner School becomes your second family. The staff are the best and truly care about the kids. Management is always there to lend a helping hand, and they go above and beyond to show their support for the staff and families.”

Building Strong Bonds
Cultivating relationships between students, teachers, and families is at the heart of everything we do. These connections create a sense of community that extends beyond the classroom, enriching the lives of everyone involved.
Research shows that children thrive when they feel emotionally connected to the adults in their lives. A sense of belonging and acceptance empowers children to explore their learning environment with confidence and wonder! At TGS, our skilled educators are committed to fostering secure and healthy connections by actively listening to students and intentionally engaging in frequent positive interactions. Our teachers get to know each student individually, tracking their interests, skills, and specific learning needs. This personalized attention helps build trust and supports a child’s ability to form secure relationships throughout life.
A Collaborative Approach
To create supportive learning partnerships and strengthen our community, we help parents become active participants in their children’s early learning experiences. We host two scheduled parent-teacher conferences a year to update families on their child’s progress and provide them with a deeper understanding of their child’s unique strengths. Each conversation serves as an opportunity for educators and parents to collaborate on ways to meet the individual needs of each child. Any time a parent wants to schedule a private conference with the teacher, they are welcome to do so. This collaborative approach reinforces the importance of family on the educational journey.
“We love all the staff at the school, and they are very approachable and make you feel like you’re part of a family. The teachers are great with communicating and use an app to keep us updated on the kids throughout the day. The holiday events, summer block parties, and festivals are great because all the families can get together and have fun with the kids.”

A Welcoming Environment
The Gardner School also fosters a sense of community through shared activities and events that bring families together. We host a variety of family events, open houses, and other celebrations for families to build relationships throughout the school year. TGS parents bring value to our community in so many ways—from volunteering to read books to our students to helping other moms and dads feel connected. Our open-door policy for parents makes it easy to get involved!
“The Gardner School has been terrific for our daughter. She started as an 11-month-old (and is now a little over 2 years old) and is thriving thanks to the support and care of her wonderful teachers and staff. Everyone has been kind and communicative – both when things are going great and especially when our daughter experienced traditional toddler struggles. We’ve seen The Gardner School foster a welcoming, comfortable environment for students and parents.
When our daughter is at home, she frequently raves about her teachers, friends, and all the terrific experiences and activities she engages in at school. We’re very thankful to be a part of the TGS Community.”
