As children grow and start to observe the differences in others, we have the opportunity to help shape their understanding of diversity and foster a sense of inclusion, acceptance, appreciation, and compassion—skills that your child will carry throughout their life. It’s a big job, but there are simple ways to approach it with success, and we’re always here to help!
Books are an incredible resource that can help us teach our children about diversity and spark meaningful conversations. Here’s a look at a few of our favorites to help you get started. Happy reading!
