Awesome Autumn! Our TGS Fall Fest Recap

4 little girls in halloween costumes for fall festivals

The Gardner School is famous for our Fall Fest. For many teachers, students, and families, it’s the best party of the year! We combine fun crafts, special treats, silent auctions, photo booths, games, and music so that everyone has an enjoyable time. Some of our students dress up to really get into the spirit.

The pictures are worth a thousand words, but we wanted to share a few highlights from our yearly celebration. Check out all the wonderful activities we enjoyed at TGS schools in our 2022 Fall Fest recap!

Smiled and Posed at the Photo Booths

Many of our schools set up themed photo booths for creative family photos. Black and orange streamers made the perfect backdrop for the fall season. As families at The Gardner School enjoy the imaginative backdrops and props of the photo booths, they are also creating memories and lots of laughs.

Played Games

Families who attended Fall Fests got to play a few seasonal games, including a game of ring toss with a witch’s hat. Nothing was more fun than prizes hidden in our sensory tables, filled with grains and cooked spaghetti. (If you close your eyes, it feels a little bit like worms!) Several of our fall festivals also featured carnival-style games where families could play and laugh together. Students also created seasonal decorations to fill the walls, doors, and windows of their preschool. And with musical hits like The Monster Mash to dance along with, our annual Fall Festivals were a bushel of fun to attend!

Created Crafts

Fall Fests also let our amazing TGS families create art together. Some students decorated ghost cookies with white icing and fun sprinkles, while others made a wispy spiderweb out of cotton batting studded with plastic spiders and some painted mini pumpkins!

Enjoyed Trunk or Treat

At some of the schools, families enjoyed showing off costumes and decorating cars for a Trunk or Treat event. As children walked from car to car, they saw creative and elaborate displays. There were dinos and unicorns of all shapes and sizes, superheroes like The Incredibles and Spiderman, and even a few walking pumpkins. We love seeing our students and their families in costume going from car to car, or classroom to classroom at some schools, to fill their baskets and bags. Everyone enjoyed collecting their favorite candy and meeting all the wonderful families during this annual event.

We Love Celebrating with Our TGS Families

The Gardner School loves to celebrate the seasons by inviting families and students to participate in events like Fall Fest. These events enhance the warm TGS family environment that helps our students thrive. If you’re looking for a preschool that prioritizes building positive community connections, visit a TGS location near you to learn more or take a virtual tour through our website.
