2. You spend weekends at the Louisville Zoo or the Kentucky Science Center.
There’s a reason the Zoo sees over 1.4 million unique visitors each year. It houses over 1,700 animals, which means you can spend hours meeting so many different animal friends. Or, if you have a budding STEM learner in your household, the rotating exhibits and activities will engage them as they’re learning.
3. You know that the KFC Yum! Center is a sports complex and not a fast food restaurant.

With its scenic views, playgrounds, and trails, the Louisville Waterfront Park is a great place to take the family for a fun-filled day. Bring a picnic along and you’ll have all the ingredients for a perfect family weekend.
8. You’ve been to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.
This museum and factory is dedicated to the history of the Louisville Slugger, the iconic baseball bat used by some of the greatest players in the game. 9. You’ve been to the Kentucky Derby Museum.
This one is a given, but we have to mention it. The Kentucky Derby Museum is a must-see for visitors of all ages (and a rite of passage for Louisville little ones.)
