Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze at Odyssey Fun Farm
Fun for all ages, the Odyssey Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is built on a real 110-acre farm. Open every Friday and Saturday through October, this exclusive corn maze is 15 acres! A 5-acre courtyard full of family friendly activities includes a Giant Pillow Bouncy House, Petting Zoo, Inflatable Kidz Zone, corn cannons, pig races, a cow train, duck races, corn box, hay rides, and more.
Fall Fest at the Lincoln Park Zoo
During Fridays through Sundays in October, reap some harvest fun in the heart of Chicago with Lincoln Park Zoo’s third annual Fall Fest. A free, family-friendly celebration, the event features several ticketed attractions that include a ferris wheel, corn maze, fun slide, inflatable obstacle course, and more. Fall Fest also includes animal chats, music, and a pumpkin patch for kids to pick and purchase a pumpkin.
Fall Color Festival at Morton Arboretum
At the Fall Color Festival at The Morton Arboretum, families can see the world through a kaleidoscope of brilliantly-colored trees, while enjoying grilled goodies and taffy apples, a scarecrow trail around Meadow Lake, and other activities every day in October. Other activities include a Glass Pumpkin Patch, Boo Breakfast, and more! Admission is free for children ages one and under.
Chicago Parent Fall Playdate
Join Chicago Parent Magazine for its Fall Playdate at the Naperville Yard Sports Complex on October 22, which includes sports, bounce houses, character visits, obstacle courses, train rides, and much more. This event is sure to be fun for both kids and parents alike!
Pumpkin Patch at Sheridan
A family-favorite event at Sheridan Park, families will enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, and pumpkins (while supplies last). With activities and treats galore, this free event takes place on October 21st.
