Conveniently built in the thriving business and residential community of Cool Springs, The Gardner School of Franklin is located at 131 Market Exchange Court near the Franklin intersection of Baker’s Bridge and Carothers Parkway. A welcoming location for families who live and work in both Franklin and Brentwood, The Gardner School of Franklin is also convenient for families who commute from Nashville. Our Franklin preschool resides in one of Tennessee’s leading communities in academic achievement, and its nearby incorporated cities—Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville, Thompson’s Station, and Spring Hill—are consistently renowned as the perfect place for raising young children.

Our Franklin school is the first in the TGS family of Tennessee schools to adopt the unique “Americana Main Street” design theme, which is found throughout the school’s interior corridors. The stimulating, creative, and educationally engineered school is designed to meet the needs of children, and the attention to detail that can be found both inside and outside the classroom is what makes The Gardner School of Franklin a very special place for young children.

The Gardner School of Franklin is one of our four Nashville-area schools. Our academically-focused preschool offers families more than just a traditional preschool or child care. Here’s a look at some of The Gardner School of Franklin’s offerings, as well as an introduction to the school’s leadership team.

What The Gardner School of Franklin Offers

Families who choose The Gardner School of Franklin benefit from year-round educational programs and research-based curriculums. Through full and part-time child care and early childhood education programs for children 6 weeks old through private Pre-K, TGS of Franklin also provides a full suite of enrichment classes, including basketball, gymnastics, music/drama, dance, karate, Spanish, and more. During the summer months, students can experience our summer camp program, Camp Gardner.

The Gardner School of Franklin is designed with security features to ensure a safe and secure environment with convenient hours and locations. The school’s highly-praised curriculums and  STEAM-focused learning delivered by degreed and highly qualified teachers in each classroom help students to be prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Families also appreciate the school’s indoor and outdoor play spaces, where students receive multiple gross motor play opportunities and open space to move and interact with each other in a safe and highly-monitored environment.

Meet The Gardner School of Franklin’s Leadership Team

The Gardner School of Franklin is led by Director Christy Wilson and Assistant Director Stephany Peugeot. Christy joined our team in October of 2010 and had the opportunity to open The Gardner School of Midtown as director before coming back to Franklin to assume her current role. Christy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from Liberty University. It was Christy’s mom, a special education teacher, that planted the passion for education in both her sister and herself. She explains, “My mom showed us the importance of investing in the lives of children and how truly rewarding that can be. She’s quite proud now that my sister is a 3rd-grade teacher, and I’m a director at TGS!” In her role as director at our Franklin preschool, Christy’s favorite part of the job is when students are excited to show her their accomplishments.

Stephany Peugeot joined our team in August of 2013 and served as a 3-year-old lead teacher before taking on her current role. Stephany has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology, and she taught 3-year-olds for 14 years. Stephany’s passion is to shape young minds through love and learning. “The children inspire me to be a better person. The love they give is amazing! They love you for who you are. They see the good in everyone,” says Stephany. Her favorite part of the day in her role is when she opens the doors at 7:00 a.m. and gets to see all the children’s smiling faces as they arrive. “They are so happy to be here,” Stephany affirms.
