During the winter months when the temperatures drop, your children will most likely be watching more television. So, what’s out there that is fun for kids? Here is a list of ten Netflix movies, both old and new, that are sure to entertain everyone!

The Angry Birds Movie

Rated: PG
This entertaining movie encourages us not to judge others, with three unlikely heroes trying to discover the truth. The movie is entertaining, but it’s also is one of the better educational movies on Netflix, so everyone will enjoy!

Bee Movie

Rated: G
Even toddlers can follow the plot of this movie, so it’s friendly for all ages! Children will learn the importance of keeping the environment clean and how important it is to work as a team.

D2: The Mighty Ducks

Rated: PG
If you grew up in the 90s, you most likely already have a love for The Mighty Ducks, and so will your children! Friendship is a key factor in this movie, as is teamwork. But watch out for that Knuckle Puck!

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Rated: PG
Both parents and children can relate to this movie that sparked many sequels. The plot tells a story of how different types of people can still eventually get along if they work together.

Jetsons: The Movie

Rated: G
George Jetson and his crew may not be a character your children recognize, but this movie will still captivate the young ones, just as it did you when you were growing up. The characters are cute, the movie contains no violence and it highlights the act of teamwork.

Lilo & Stitch

This movie is a story about a girl who wants an alien as her dog. Though a little off the beaten path of a dog movie, Stitch will keep kids entertained for the full length of the movie!

The Princes and the Frog

Tiana, wishing to follow her dreams as a restaurant owner, turns a frog prince back into a human being in order to get her wish. Set in vibrant southern Louisiana with a fun soundtrack to match, the story is a colorful journey as she follows her dreams.

Ready for a pint-sized culinary adventure. A rat that can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous restaurant. It’s a wonderful story about learning what you can accomplish when you work together.

Toy Story

The playroom toys come alive and so does our imagination. A child’s favorite cowboy doll is jealous when a new spaceman figure replaces him as top toy. The sequels are just as fun (Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3).

This Disney flick, though fast-paced, relays positive messages about courage, tolerance, teamwork, and more. Children will love it just as much as adults, as it includes humor that parents can relate to.
