From the Mouth of Babes: What our Kids Say About their Teachers

|

It’s true that kids say the cutest things, and while their responses are often honest and humorous, they also can provide some mature and heartfelt wisdom when asked. This month, we asked our students to talk about their teachers. At The Gardner School, we take great pride in building a well-educated, well-trained, caring and motivating team. We ensure our teachers not only meet qualifications set forth by each state, but we also hire lead teachers for each classroom with four-year degrees. This is one of the many things that set The Gardner School apart.

As you’ll find from our students’ responses below, our teachers are among The Gardner School’s greatest resources.

Experiential learning is a great way for children to experiment and find out how things work. Our teachers work hard to create these fun learning opportunities for our TGS kids. Word hunts are a favorite activity for our students at The Gardner School. Adventure makes learning fun!

A good sense of humor goes a long way when it comes to teaching preschoolers. We love that our teachers find ways to make students laugh. Even more, games refresh the body and mind. Teachers at The Gardner School use games regularly to help students retain and apply subject matter.

We want our students to feel comfortable in the classroom. What better compliment could a teacher receive than to be compared to a child’s mother, right? The work of teachers at The Gardner School goes beyond the classroom. It’s always encouraging to see a teacher interacting with students out on the playground!

New toys are always great, but new toys that help a child learn are even better! Music improves visual and verbal skills. Even more, music makes you happy! We’re always excited to see The Gardner School teachers introduce puzzles, toys, and music into the learning environment.

Thank you, TGS teachers, for creating an academically-focused, caring, and fun environment for our students! We salute you.
