Our loving and nurturing infant teachers will take the time to understand your child's unique schedule to ensure that their physical and emotional needs will be consistently and affectionately met. We believe it is important to work closely with Parents as partners. In this way we can compliment your efforts at home and can become a supportive and positive extension of your family while your child is in our care.
Our nursery is surrounded with many stimulating objects and opportunities to explore and grow in a truly nurturing environment. We have a scheduled program of interactive play, singing, learning to relate to classmates, exploring their environment, rest times, naps, diapering, feeding, washing and comforting. The schedule provides the infant with a sense of security and order in their daily lives. The schedule is flexible and will be adjusted to your infant's special needs. You will receive daily communication from your child's teacher to understand every aspect of your child's day.
In addition, we incorporate the use of American Sign Language to help encourage communication skills with our youngest students. Sign language can open an exciting new world between you and your child. Our program provides guidance and tools to parents and caregivers on how to communicate with their babies through sign language before their little ones can speak. Itsy, Bitsy, Yoga rounds out the curriculum in our Nursery. Studies have shown that infants who participate in yoga exercises daily have improved sleeping patterns, gas relief and aids in digestion. Just wait until you see your baby in the “Tree Pose!”
