Hello, my name is Kate Miller and I have been with The Gardner School of Nashville since August of 2007. I started as a teacher and was promoted to Assistant Administrative Director in October of 2008, then to Executive School Director in June of 2010. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Family Community Services with a young child emphasis from Michigan State University and have several years of experience working with young children in various childcare settings. My husband Aaron and I are expecting our first child in the fall of 2010 and look forward to the exciting adventure of becoming parents! As the Executive School Director, I feel that it is important to make our school a welcoming environment for all families, children and faculty. I am passionate about early childhood education because I feel that it is a crucial time in a child's life that sets the foundation for a life-long love of learning. By focusing on the needs of the whole child, The Gardner School will ensure that your child will have a positive experience that will foster creativity and joy through cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth.
