My name is Jean Riley and I am the Executive School Director for the Gardner School of Brentwood.  I moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Nashville in 2005 with my husband Jeffrey and two children Bryan and Christina.  Over the past 18 years, I have dedicated my life to managing and directing high quality preschools throughout the country.   I enjoy and take pride in having the opportunity to impact the lives of children at an early age.   As the Executive Director I am excited about having the opportunity to not only make a positive difference in the lives of children, but to create a satisfying experience for the whole family.  I have a cheerful attitude and demonstrate respect and love for all children.   I understand the philosophy of our program and continue to set high goals.  I am a team leader who is patient and considerate to all of my co-workers and those around me.   My goal is to provide an environment that creates the ultimate learning experience for every child by promoting self-esteem, creativity and a thirst for knowledge.   I provide opportunities for parents and their family members to share their skills and talents in the classroom, so the children can understand that families are made up of different kind of people and relationships.   By focusing on these goals, I ensure a well-run, appropriate, purposeful program responsive to everyone’s needs.
